Malvi Lohar Samaj Introduction

According to Vishwakarma Mahapuran and traditional Bhaat Gurus’ books, the origin of Lohar is described from Lord Vishwakarma’s eldest son Manu. Being the descendants of Vishwakarma, the first craftsman of the universe, they are traditionally skilled in construction work. Malvi Lohar caste is basically Malwa region and hence they are called Malvi Lohar. Despite being settled in the neighboring states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and other parts of the country due to work, they feel proud in their personal identity Malvi / Malviya.
